The Bromley Common Practice

My family and I have been with this practice since 1987 and seen many doctors come and go. We have also received very good care from them all as well as the nurses and help from the receptionists.
My most recent visits have now been at the new practice in Mackintosh Street since the joining with the southlands practice.
My own doctor, Dr Asha, was very helpful when I went with a very painful elbow she suggested a steroid injection which would carried out by Dr Chandon as this is 1 of his areas' of expertise. I had the injection in September and it was amazing virtually painless and 100% effective.
Highly recommend this surgery
I was advised to have a steroid injection for the tennis elbow I developed. This was done by Dr Chandan who was extremely kind and gentle. He explained the whole procedure to me and made me feel at ease. I would thoroughly recommend this practice.
I AM UNDER DOCTOR SRIWARDHANA AND I GET FAR BETTER TREATED BY HER THAN I DO AT THE PRU THEY DO NOTHING FOR ME I WISH I COULD GET ALL MY TREAMENT FROM HER GREAT DOCTOR ALL THE STAFF AT YOUR SURGERY ARE VERY HELPFULL
I had a bad experience at Kings College Hospital when referred for a possible hip replacement. I came away very upset by the way I was treated, Dr Chandan had referred me, so I returned to see him again. He persuaded me to try physio again and prescribed painkillers. From there I was referred onto the PRU to see a different Orthopaedic surgeon. Waited some time for an appointment due to the PRU cancelling one and not telling me, so turned up for an appointment I no longer had as should have been seen two months earlier. Received great service from one of the secretary's Elaine at BCP who found out what the mix up was and got me an appointment within two weeks. Subsequently saw a lovely surgeon who agreed with my scan results and Dr Chandan's diagnosis that I needed a new hip only in mid 50's so bit of a shock. Hopefully will have that done in September. Dr Chandan and the surgeon have encouraged me to complain to Kings about the doctor I saw there and I have now done so. This practice strives to help us, the patients and is very reassuring. The receptionists do a marvellous job especially with the amount of abuse that is directed at them. I have witnessed it on several occasions, they remain professional. The nurses are excellent too. I think we are very lucky to have such a good team at BCP. The doctors we now have, have a wide range of knowledge and experience. At the end of the day if you have something you are not happy with, talk to the staff rather than post anon on other nhs websites. Keep up the good work!
